Apparently we are in for him , west brom want us to have him again on loan , they signed him on a 6 year contract .

Well that would be a very big coup based on how he was playing the 2nd half of the season.
Are WBA really only looking for as loan ? Surely they’d want to recoup some of the transfer fee they paid out ?

6 years!? They won't get many takers for that length of contract. loaninb him back so we pay his wages would be a good option especially if he's already been settled here

That's exactly the situation

Hope this is true, thought he was brilliant for us.
Always gave 100%, always played the full match and was a real team player. Popular with the squad as well I think.
I know he missed a few decent chances but he’s the one of the most hardworking players you’ll see these days.
Just make sure there isn’t a recall option in the contract.

Quick, talented, passionate, great work rate, great attitude.
If they dont want him, we'll have him back it's a no brainier.

WBA posted a photo of him on Facebook a few days ago and he was getting absolutely SLATED in the comments. Seems 90% of their fans don’t rate him and want him gone. Also slagged his work rate which is baffling based on what we saw last season

The big difference here is that their fans thought they signed a 15m goal machine where as he's just a really good loan player to us. I don't think there's any club willing to buy him out of that big contract he's got with them so another loan to us maybe on the cards.

Please no be disappointed if he came back. Work rate aside offers nothing probably seen him beat the fullback half a dozen times all season and his finishing left a lot to be desired. Stats dont lie we need better.

Oof, imagine the link ups between ODowda and Grant and NG and Willock. Exciting indeed.

Was one of our better players last year, and in a team that kept going backwards was one of a very rare few that tried at least to be a bit more direct.

Can’t disagree too much to be honest.
Had some bright moments but was never someone defenders were terrified of, was just a handful.
To push top-6, we need more of the Willock-types.

Grant is as good as Wilcocks in fact we may find he works harder .. see QPR views on Wilcocks
