Cardiff City are leading the race to sign Brighton winger Jeremy Sarmiento. Talks progressed earlier this week after Ecuador’s exit from the Copa America. The aim is to get the player in before the club travel to Austria.

What a signing this could be.

Not getting excited though, as we have been linked with every Tom, Dick and Jose

Scored a worldie against us at CCS early in the season with West Brom. Finished the season with Ipswich and did well.

Would be a brilliant signing but can’t see this happening, I think better teams will be in for him.

Although these are all rumours, I'm enjoying the calibre of players that are being linked.

Grant, Sarmiento, AlHamadi, Hooijdonk, Chambers etc
