City to save £1.6mill / plus

Between the anticipated exits of Ryan Wintle and Romeo, Cardiff will save £1.6m in salary outlay.

Adams' transfer to Derby saved £400k pa and brought in an additional £650k minimum,with another potential £200k in add ons.

Midfielder Andy Rinamohta could also depart the Welsh capital so that would slice another £780k from the wage roll.

The Bluebirds would be lightening their annual on four players by around £2.8m pa, to create the room for youngsters to grow and overall squad strengthening with the signing of winger Chris Willock from QPR and Aston Villa and England defender Calum Chambers as Free agents.

Not sure those figures are completely accurate but nevertheless sone potential major savings in the pipeline

But they will be replaced probably by players on bigger wages but it does give the club more room for wages for these new players .

It opens the door for us to bring in players that will actually add something to the team.

That's only if anyone actually wants Romeo or Rinamohta. Even if we let them leave on free transfers, I can't see anyone covering the wage they're on now. We'll probably end up paying big percentages wherever they go.

saved alot more than that as well so far from last season, with loan players going back, supposedly paying £40k a week for Grant, similar for Philips, Bowlers £15k, i think someone was saying with all the loan players we were paying around £100k a week in total on their wages.
