Sat Jul 27, 2024 8:10 pm

Updated:

Yes it’s pay on the day for Cardiff fans

Are the tickets going on general sale. And if they are is there any left. As hoping to take my my son for his first away game

Re: Bristol rovers away

They are on sale, just need a club membership (not expensive) or a season ticket.

Re: Bristol rovers away

1 ticket per season ticket holder or member. If your son isn't a member I would recommend him becoming one for future aways also.

Yeah I was wondering if they will go on general sale if they don’t all sell

We never put away tickets on sale to people who aren’t season ticket holders or a club member.

The only way you can go without one is if they do pay on the day, don’t know if they will for this.

However I did Swindon and Shrewsbury a few years back pre season and didn't need away membership?

I can’t see a problem in paying on the day

Anyone have any idea how many we've sold yet or how many we're expecting to sell?
I went to Wycombe this time last year and there were around 5-600 there so I'm imagining at least 1,000 here. :bluebird:

What makes you think this Wes, i have been speaking to some old Bristol City lads ive been mates with since our clubbing days and they have warned me off going on Saturday. They are saying between the dutch and City themselves they have got a right firm out gunning for u sand Rovers.

Dutch? Are Bristol city playing a Dutch team?

Surely this is only a problem in the city centre or near the BC ground. Any normal fan will have no problems attending the game then going straight home.

Willem II. Apparently well known in Holland for there hooligan element. Yes im sure anyone going straight to the ground will have no issues, but im also aware that lots of City fans are going on the train me included. Just wondered why Wes had posted that statement.

I predict there will be little or no trouble at all at this fixture.

The last time I attended this fixture it was lively outside their main pubs ( queen Victoria off memory) although that was 1999 in fairness. We’ll have generations of fans who won’t have any appreciation for a rivalry with the Gas .

The ground is a bit of a dump as is that area of Bristol .
