Totally bonkers not the fact given 200m that includes infrastructure of airport. Its the fact they own it but wouldn't do anything to boost uptake of it... namely build new access Rd to
It when every man and his dog say its the access that stops people using it... improved 7 mile lane but stopped there because the posh people didn't want a bigger Rd through "their" countryside!

They need to be encouraging the likes of easyjet and jet 2 to come to the airport for access to more destinations at cardiff airport.

Also, the fact that the railway line doesn't even go through the airport is a joke if you are making a journey by train.

There are things like rail that will help get easyjet ect to use airport even if its limited places but wg do sfa to help....... if sold it it will close in time as not viable for private owners tried before and was run down by them so causing the problems we have now unless do rail/Rd connection ....
Catch 22 Wales need airport otherwise be only country in Europe without one also we won't see big euro finals here? Unless labour change their attitude airport will just bounce along costing money every 5yrs or so
