The 8 we need

Based on this game tonight against Reading, and his performances the last couple of seasons on loan, I don’t think we need to spend on an 8 everyone keeps going on about.

I think the 8 we need, we already have, in Eli King.

He’s definitely done well tonight.

But would say it’s only a friendly and against League One opposition.

I do think we’ll sign an 8 (Robertson or someone else) but hope that King stays and doesn’t go back out on loan.

I think he’s proven himself at League 2 level, and then a step up at the SPL (bearing in mind, we signed Turnbull from there, and he cost £2 million)

I think he’s proven he can handle it. He has the build, and the right materials to be the 8 we need.
