I'm trying to stay chilled/calm but the feel good factor is brewing for me too.

I always look forward to that first game of the season but it does feel different.

Signings are exciting, new players are choosing City over rivals, it was a good pre-season, O'Dowda & Ramsey back...it's getting interesting for sure!!!

We still have next week and the transfer deadline to go ....

It will be interesting to see if Bulut's tactics will be markedly different from last season, especially as we have recruited and are likely to recruit players that seem to be on another level from those we had last year. You would like to think that given the raw materials to work with he will show his true worth as a coach/manager.

When we signed Medal Myself and my cousins were sitting were invited to the directors box for the preseason game against Bilbao. One journalist on line stated there was no truth in Medal coming or even interested in coming to Cardiff. The funny thing was we had spoken to him about 5 mins before and he said he would be signing a contract straight after the game. As a former photographer at the CCS I regularly used to frequent the media room both prior to and after games - to send photos off to the papers.

We always saw journos from WOL, and other newspapers in there, and on many occasions I often saw a former WOL journalist trawling through this forum for a story.

I remember, on one occasion, I was up at Middlesbrough and got chatting to him. He was looking at the Cardiff City Forum and I asked him whether he was looking for a story. He said "yes, just need to fill some space for tomorrow".

Let's hope this seasons signings don't give up after Christmas like the so-called "Pitbull" did when he clearly couldn't be arsed any longer.
