I would expect this means the club will now go looking for a left back and another striker, if they weren’t already.

Should be 3 squad players. No drama and hopefully it drives priority to sign a LB and another Striker.

Gutted for Isaak out of the three.

Absolutely gutted for Isaak Davies as this really was going to be his chance at 23 yrs old.

Dwyer missed 48 games through injury between 79/80 to 81/82 season so basically over a season of matches I don’t think he ever played any season without not being picked or injured in his time at Cardiff

I love the two responses to this.

Dwyer and murray like many in this era played close to 500 games in 12 years, that's 41 a season when the tackles made you wince. Apart from witts and ralls you just don't see commitment like this..although jazz richards and vassels were a good bet!..I'm convinced it's the modern medical team and too much cotton wool.

Goutas 46 games
Siopis 42 games
Ng 39 games
Collins 36 games


By the way, when it comes to league games, Dwyer averaged 36 games a season for us. That’s about the same as a lot of players today.

People have an extremely rose tinted view of the “good old days”.

Davies and Etete might have gone out on loan or sold,big problem

In all career games ng goutas collins siopis are averaging about 30 a season...10 less than dwyer Murray. No rose glasses just facts...too much cotton wool.

Phil Dwyer average 36 to 37 games over 13 seasons don't give me that rose tinted glasses crap.

No Rose glasses just facts..72-85 14 seasons. 575 for city, 15 rochdale 10 wales = 600 games(52 goals) at 42.8 games per season. Modern footballers will not come any where near this, unless the medics run out of cotton wool.

Real shame, particularly for Davies as all the noises were hinting that it would have been his breakthrough season.

Davies was holding his hamstring against Penybont i want to say, so i wouldn't be surprised if he has a tear, and 4 months, its a pretty bad tear.

Agree - the manager was going to use him this season - time to look at getting another striker in .
Personally would like to see a young loan player from the U23's - Liverpool have some good young talent there .

Gutted for Davies.

He deserves his chance.

Etete I was quite hopeful of him going. At least we don't have to see him on the pitch for a few months.

Bad for them but...

Where has not been good enough

Collins offers nothing going forward, we need genuine pace.

Davies is not a championship level striker, at best he is an off the bench winger.

These are not big losses.
