Turnbull?

I get the feeling he will be let go in this window either a loan or permanently.

I think he will end up back in Scotland.

He may be sold but I can’t see him going on loan.

I agree. The fact he wasn’t involved yesterday was strange if he’s not moving, there’s no injury.

I think a loan is most likely.

He’s a good enough player but it’s almost like we don’t know what to do with him, hard to tell if he’s an 8 or a 10.

If we sign Robertson, he will be pushed even further down the pecking order so he will probably go out on loan.

It’s so weird to me that David Turnbull is no closer to the side or having a clearly defined role, even after a full pre-season. It’s not like he’s played badly, they just seem to have no idea what to do with him. It feels like he’s more likely to leave on loan than play. Bizarre

I agree - its absolutely bizarre. How can this guy, whom we paid a reasonable fee for, go from being a pivotal player at Celtic, scoring something like 25 goals in a hundred odd appearances, be stuck on the sidelines at Cardiff?

Bulut - what are you NOT doing with Turnbull!? Ridiculous situation.

I think he has shown more in pre season than he did last season.i think he's looked very good id expect him to play a part in the team through the season don't think he will be loaned out

Maybe nothing in it. He played 90 mins on Wednesday so possibly rested while others are given game time. Even with Roberson hopefully in it’ll mean 6 first teamers for 4 places so that’s good.

Robinson and Turnbull were rested having played the entirety of the 2-1 win against Reading at Cardiff City Stadium three days earlier.

He has never seemed interested to me, that may be harsh but it’s the feeling I get. Not sure he was ever invested in the move here.

He’s played nearly all the friendlys and looks good , he’s probably just given a rest , ready for the start

Know what you mean but you wouldn’t have a less interested looking player than Peter Whittingham, the rest is history as you say.

You’re right actually, didn’t think of that.

We’ll find out if he’s in the squad on Saturday.

I think we are going to have to get used to "fit" players on the bench or stands. I think Bulut learned how brutal the championship is and is making adjustments to the depth and quality of the squad. I doubt we will have many unchanged teamsheets.
