Think he does know some stuff, mostly in his replies and not tweets.

Alexander Robertson fits the bill.

Sounds like it’s someone else.

Although born in Scotland, Robertson sees himself as Australian. He plays for that national team and grew up there.

I think that’s what the initial tweet refers to at the top.

If we are not talking about Robertson here - then found these 3 who were born in Scotland and played for Australia ...

Martin Boyle Jason Cummings Harry Souttar . Personally would be more than happy with just Robertson .

I don’t think this new player has anything to do with Australia. The one guy is assuming it’s Robertson as he was born in Scotland so it must be him. This new player is someone else in addition to Robertson who is Scottish or playing in Scotland .

Scott McKenna being suggested. A left footed centre back would be useful. Currently a free agent and was in talks with Cardiff and Hull recently but was expected to go to Las Palmas but possibly has now been persuaded to join us?

6ft 2, international player, 150+ games with QPR so has the experience, can score goals etc

BUT

I believe he went off injured against Reading in a friendly match a week or so ago - only lasted 15 mins.
He's also just coming back from an injury so I don't know if its bad luck or if he is injury prone

Agree with everything you’ve said there.

I don’t think Shankland was ever a rumour, just people wanting us to sign him but it’s always been most likely he’d end up at one of the top Scottish clubs.

Cantwell isn't getting good press and fans have turned on him alot so their opinions on his ability and attitude is not great.

Australia defender Harry Souttar has joined Sheffield United on a season-long loan away from Premier League Leicester.

The 25-year-old, who has 30 senior caps to his name for the Socceroos has made only 16 appearances for the Foxes since joining from Stoke in January 2023.

His lack of game time led to a demand from Socceroos coach Graham Arnold back in March during an international window.
