Yet again we lose by more than one goal

Lots has been said about our need for a striker and more goals but defensively we conceded way too many goals last season and again today we've lost by two goals.

I'm sure last season was some sort of record for defeats by more than one goal and if we're going to keep conceding at a rate close to two goals a game we're going to struggle big time this season.

Considering we always play with at least one defensive midfielder and often two of them we concede way too many goals.

We need a proper left back (O'Dowda is a fine player but not a natural left back) and much as I love Perry NG he's not the best defensively.

Not 100% convinced by Goutas to be honest.

We need to tighten up at the back ......and quickly.

Mate we continue to concede needless goals and Bulut has not addressed that at all.
Bulut will struggle this season, both ends of the field he has not sorted.

Completely agree. Yesterday felt like it was though we picked up immediately after rotherham with defensive mistakes. I really hope this stuff is addressed in training.

The trend at the end of last season of conceding a huge number of goals is possibly why so many pundits have us relegated this year. Everyone focuses on our lack of fire power but defensively we have been equally as poor recently. Yesterday's goals were so soft especially the first. Two free headers in our penalty area was school boy stuff. This is why selling McGuiness is perhaps not a wise move.We also need a proper left back as O'Dowda is better as a winger. Bulut needs to fix this first. We don't draw enough games especially if we concede first. It's either win or lose and mostly lose at the moment.

A capable left back is priority one for me.

We do concede a lot.

A lot more than we should considering we are playing with 2 DMs most of the time.

Agree that left back is an issue area. Collins finished the season well but even if he wasn't injured, I still think we could do with another left back.

We conceed to many from wingers getting around the back of our left&righ backs i would try bagan natural left foiter if hr cannoy hack it get him away and off the books i would have o' dowda on the left and switch willock to the right instead of tanner.

It is the not scoring is the problem. How many open play goals did we score last season, not many... Maybe ten
