Aaron Ramsey

We all know Ramsey's talent and what he's achieved in his fantastic career but yesterday he looked lost and very frustrated. Whether that frustration was with himself or his teammates or the way the team was playing I don't know but a player of Ramsey's talent and experience should have dominated that game against a young team.

Something wasn't right with him yesterday.

I agree, he was nowhere near his best.

There were a lot of simple misplaced passes and some crosses that were way out. Those things are simple for a player of his quality.

You might be right about the frustration. Particularly when he was giving the ball to Tanner and he was just wasting it.

I didn’t spot it myself, but someone said he was talking to Bulut at the end and was visibly frustrated.

We will need him to give a better performance at Burnley, which is a very tough game that we need our best players to step up in if we have any hope of getting a result.

If we are aiming to play a pressing game, I don't think he fits into the team.

His legs have gone.

I was under the impression that Bulut was going to play him deeper this season because of that reason. Maybe he didn't because we are still waiting for El Ghazi to be fit.

No real evidence of us playing a pressing game yesterday.

Couple of isolated incidents where one of our players would apply a bit of pressure to a defender but it certainly wasn't a concerted team effort by any means.

He was probably frustrated that some players prefer to play backwards than look forward? He is playing deeper so he can see what's happening with
with players that are stopping attacks by not seeing whats happening ahead...afterall that's his fortè so must be frustrated.

I think he was frustrated looking up at times and there was just no movement. If you watch Ramsey carefully when he receives the ball he passes and moves into space some of our players should take lessons off him. I think he needs to sit deeper in field and spray the passes around but he needs runners and a midfield player who makes forward runs let's hope Robertson can be that player :old: :bluescarf:
