One match in, yeah yeah, fantastic! I am starting to lose patience however ridiculous that sounds at this stage.

Annis is correct of course and has stuck to his view for at least 2 seasons now.

FFS Erol, don't TRY to play the younger guys / academy graduates, just throw them in NOW and also give them game time up at Burnley and upcoming Championship matches!

Enough is enough, use the young players now or just move them on.
Stop bottling it and worrying about your reputation or losing - grab your nuts and do something positive because we lost our first home match - with the squad we have, fully utilised, we should do better.

There were two options for him to say ahead of this game.

The first, which he went with: “We will use the younger players”.

The second: “It will be the senior players, no younger players will be involved.”

Going by your post, you wouldn’t have been happy if he said the second quote.

But you’re equally not happy with what he did say.

This, to me, shows that some people are just looking for ways to have a go at him.

Criticise the performances, fine. I don’t agree but people are entitled to their opinion.

But I struggle to see how he can be criticised for this.

Ned, you're right.

Some people will use anything as a way to say they are unhappy.

If he played a full 11 senior players with no youngsters, to guarantee we go through, he would be wrong.

By saying he will "try" the youngsters, he is wrong.

Typical. Can't help some people.

That's a reasonably fair comment Worcester but I've let on I'm in 'two-amp' mode (short fuse!).

I did nitpick and it looks like I'm trying to find fault I suppose but Erol has come out with similar lines before, and whilst he has thrown I some youngsters for cup matches previously, I'd like to see him to do it when his arse is on the line: Championship matches.

I just have the feeling that although early days, this is possibly crunch time and/or an inflection point on how our season will go forward.

Let's wait and see how things pan out over the next few games.

You are right to an extent.

If we lose on Saturday then pressure will build, despite it being a tough game. If we then lose to Swansea, which isn’t a tough game because I don’t think they’re a good side, then the pressure would be huge - pressure I’m not sure he could come back from.

Being a supporter of Bulut, I hope he can get a couple of good results from those games.

I see what you’re saying, but I don’t see the benefit of paper over the cracks with a few wins here and there to keep the pressure off. If he eventually turns out to be no good by Xmas which I hope isn’t the case with these new signings, but my personal opinion is he’s out of his depth. I would rather get someone in now than wait for half the season to have gone. So the new guy has time.

I disagree and don’t want there to be a new manager.

Not saying this is the case with you, but I get the feeling some of our fans are too used to changing the manager every season. Now we have a manager who has got through his second pre-season, they don’t know how to react.

We all want stability. I honestly don't think supporters want a shot gun approach to managerial appointments at City. Most would want Bulut to succeed, me included.

I just think that many see the lack of attacking impact / goals from the side since Bulut has been at the helm and just worry how its going to pan out. The defeat on the weekend doesn't help that viewpoint obviously.

Ideally I don’t want a new manager either and hope he succeeds and changes the way he plays with the new signings, which I hope is the case. But on the flip side don’t want an other wasted season by waiting to long for some one to change they football mindset that may never happen.

I don’t rate him on what I’ve seen, but I really hope we succeed under him.
