Sad to say, Never been a fan of Buluts. I know many on here are , even though they often criticize his tactic and style.
So, My question to Bulut fans is, what exactly is it that your a fan of?
Genuinely interested and with no criticism from me towards your choices, just think this has potential to be a good thread.
Over to you.

I fall into that category.
I also criticise the tactics, player choice and style.
I like how he managed, on a shoe string budget, with an embargo, a squad that was inherited, to achieve 12th in the league, where we COULD have achieved play offs.
I understand that as paying fans we want to see good football, but football is ultimately about results and league position.
I understand also why people don't like Bulut.

Pretty much as above, all managers get criticism even Malky and Warnock but it’s all about results.

Not a huge amount of replies from the Bulut backers.
Maybe a few more can come on after we sweep Burnley aside 4-0 today with the all out swashbuckling attacking front foot football that Erol has been promising us all summer.

I was always on the fence last season regarding Bulut.
But the way he finished the season of was worse than awful.
He is boring, dire football, tries to hold out draws, not interested in putting our younger better players to start.
Brings in mostly injured or unfit players
Never admits when he gets the game plans wrong
Has been backed this season, so I will hold out for 12 games.

I dont get too loved up with a manager. They are temporary, its a fact proven with data.
Our club needed last season. A boring mid-table season with some highs and some lows. Stable.
The product on the pitch wasn't the best last year, but I'm an optimist and like to hope that he's building as opposed to us collapsing.
IF we get anywhere near bottom 3, I'd be asking serious questions.
I also dont understand the hate. Its not an easy job, in a nightmare of a division.

No hate from me just not a fan.
Like Annis those last 2 games of the season when we got humbled and the Swansea away games were passionless and embarrassing.
Other games were dire and his tactics seem to set up not to lose and even though he says more attacking football he seems this season to be about possession, but backwards and side ways.
Was Ramsey frustrated with those tactics last week he clearly wasn't t firing.

I don’t think it’s hate mate, just people wanted to see entertaining attacking football or at least a change of plan as the current one is clearly not working. People pay a lot of money and would like to get some value for money. And surely our club performance comes before hurting a managers feelings who would drop us like we hit if a prem club came knocking looking.

Think people's perception as been heightened because at start of last season it showed what we were capable of
..then injuries to key players unbalanced team not sure bulut adjusted to that ..... but we did finish high up league and ghat gave people hope we got manager decision right for once? To me its going to be 15 or so games before we see what team is capable of simply because got hard games to start season and new players not all upto
speed! Get impression watching team some players are loathed to push forward or are scared to make bad pass that's why pass 5yrds backwards a very safe option if frustrating.... anyway bulut knows he cannot afford to play like end of last season otherwise be gone at Xmas unless his don't lose attitude gets more results than last seasons did...Time will tell

I don’t buy into this it takes 10 games. Other teams have new players and injuries it not Cardiff specific, this if anything is where the managers show they worth by adjusting quickly.
Hopefully it be different today, I’m not bothering to drive that far today because I don’t have the confidence in the manager to change things and his football is awful at the moment.

I thought he did a great job last season with the embargo. At time we showed we can play good football but ultimately I’m only concerned about the result, and the results he achieved got us top half.
Will also say that I’m fed up of new managers all the time, I want to see someone actually given a chance to try and build a team capable of competing over the course of a few seasons.

I know what you're saying about changing the manager but let's say that we get relegated this season and then again next season. Would you still want Bulut a few seasons to be given a chance to build a team capable of competing?

No, there’s obviously a breaking point for every fan as to when they think a manager needs to go. I’m still not at that point with Bulut and believe we’ve had two very difficult games. We were in the game last week and I think Burnley will thrash many a team up there this season.
The derby is always unpredictable, and then there’s Boro which I think is another team who will be up there this season. After 6 games that’s when I think we need to look at making decisions IMO.
