Cardiff boss Erol Bulut said this week that the club were broadening their search out to Europe to find the right signings.
Erol Bulut:
"It can happen this week, next week you never know," Bulut said of incomings.
"We are close with a few players, we are a little bit far away with a few players. But we have a few on our list where we can go. Teams are also delaying on purpose because we are not the only team in for some players.
"We look also abroad. We have our contacts abroad and not only in the UK. We try to connect our network, European-wide, worldwide, so our recruitment, our scouts are also working in a really good direction."
