First of all, I can’t see us getting anything in the Derby. I hope I’m wrong, but I can see Swansea turning us over comfortably.
However, to stand any sort of chance, what do people think needs to change?
Horvath cost us big time yesterday first of all. It’s a game of fine lines, and for a while we were on top.
But, that mistake cost us hugely. It became an uphill battle from there, and then Meite hit the inside of the post and we had a goal disallowed for offside. If those things don’t happen, the game is completely different, and we maybe talking about a more positive result today.
O’Dowda is good to have at left back in an attacking sense, as he overlaps a lot, but defensively it makes us very weak on that left side. His defensive positioning is poor. That’s not his fault, he’s not a full back, and never has been. He’s just been doing a job. However, it’s obvious how exposed we are down that left side, with centre backs trying to cover the space he leaves behind. It happened yesterday, and happened against Sunderland too.
So, in summary Alnwick needs to come in for Horvarth, and I think Bagan needs to be thrown in at left back. We can’t keep playing O’Dowda there, because we’re getting hugely exposed.
Hopefully Ramsey and Ralls injuries aren’t bad, but that may mean Bulut’s hand is forced, and we may see a reshuffle in the midfield next weekend. Could potentially be a blessing in disguise, suppose we will have to wait and see.

I thought Horvath was poor last season when he came in. That has continued into this season and I agree that Alnwick needs to be in goal.
I’d say McGuinness needs to start but he looks to be on his way out. So we will still see Goutas start (I think he’s piss poor) and Siopis who just does everything very erratically. Ramsey needs to just call it a day! He's had his day and his body cannot cope with playing anymore. He’ll probably stick with the same set-up, just with different players.
Next week is already a write off for me. Yesterday was a very damaging defeat, despite it being early into the season. How long does he get? Probably another 4 games to sort this mess out.

The shape isn’t working, our striker is too isolated, we don’t get enough players in support, we’re never a threat.
There is literally zero point telling you what I’d do as Bulut needs to change and he’s incapable of doing so.

I would argue against this. We created a lot yesterday during the first half, playing the way we are playing. Hit the post, goal disallowed as well.
Its needs fine tuning, and some tweaking, but I don’t think it’s far away.

Bulut said he wanted a bigger squad this year, so use them.
Change the keeper after his first goal clanger or its pointless having reserves.
Players cant keep there shirt if there are others in squad ready to play.
I would make big changes for the derby hopefully find out best team after first 6 games.
ALNWICK
NG McGUINNESS CHAMBERS BEGAN
KING ROBERTSON
COLWILL WILLOCK
ROBINSON KANGA

The manager?

Besides the obvious negative tactics........ ATTITUDE!
This is their biggest game of the season, a must win at all costs. The club knows this, the manager knows this, all the staff know this, all the players know this and obviously all the fans know this. And this is how they treat every derby.
Unfortunately for our club, manager, players and many fans, it's just another game.
Until we treat this derby like they do we'll keep getting humiliated.

Iñ fairness I don't know many of our fans for whom it's "just another game".
Club, manager, players - their approach to the derby games for some time now suggest you're absolutely correct.

The ability to change is a top manager trait. Pep just tinkered as he saw it wasn’t working, they score a goal. Bulut is unable to adapt and change to circumstances.

I get what you're saying but look at their fans, the way they greet us when we arrive, thousands of them outside making it as hostile as possible. Inside the ground is the same with their swim away shit and the noise. We don't take it as seriously as they do and that grits my shit big time.

The majority of the team and a lesson on championship football tactics for Bulut.

No point in changing anything according to most well lose no matter what happens because we've lost the two games.... if he changed formation and we lose he'll get stick..... keeps formation we lose gets stick ...... change
goalie and use youngsters we lose he'll get stick! A total no win situation? unless of course we win doing any of above things for some be great for others it'll be just papering over cracks....
What's actually needed is a change of fortune and we take our chances when presented.

I'd consider 5 at the back, sacrificing Ralls or Sio to get the 5th. O'Dowda then has his freedom to roam. NG into right sided. One of the youngsters RWB.
Far too leaky at the back at the moment (and end of last year). 4 isn't working with his current picks.

Personally I'd switch to a back 5 to try and stop conceding and depending on the scoreline we could switch it up to be more attacking for the last 25-30 mins with our subs.
My lineup would be
Hovarth
Kpakio Ng Goutas Daland O'Dowda
King Sio Robertson
Yak Robbo
If we need a goal switch it to 433 for last 10-15mins with Willock Kanga, Ruben and Reindorf
