Injuries and Joel

So we lost 3 players before the start of the season

Looks like Chambers is injured/unfit and O’Dowda is injured AGAIN
Ralls and Ramsey are injured AGAIN

So - why sell McGuinness when we Bulut said he needed 4 centre backs. He obviously is because he wasn’t in the match day squad.

And with Ralls, Ramsey and now Turnbull injured - why the hell loan out Joel Colwill. Yet we keep King and Evans. Utter madness.

I said this and funny not many backed me on it.

Joel Cowill needs experience in League 2 at 20yrs old lol

McGuinness take the money, yet he’s our best defender

Realistically, Joel wasn’t going to get in the midfield this year. Whether he has ability or not, others in front are simply better, and have played at a higher level for longer.

Joel clearly needs to beef up, so sending him down there will do him the world of good, ready for next season.

As for McGuinness, he’s a sellable asset which will bring in significant fees for strengthening (that we clearly need)

Lol, I hope there are enough 30+ year-olds available for Bulut if he gets the money to invest...

At 20 yrs old Joel is old enough and was ready.

McGuinness our best defender and of course your like the Hierarchy he’s sellable so sell him

Well Bulut never played both in our last 2 games and conceded 7 goals and scored 0

Steve,

I’ve been watching reading all his posts for months he says the opposite and defends the Hierarchy and what ever Bulut does.

He will say the opposite to me every time even if proven wrong.

It’s all about opinions, we have different opinions, and that’s fine. This is what the forum is for, to discuss.

I’m defending Bulut because you can clearly see what he’s trying to implement. If you can’t see that, you are blind.
Playing the way Warnock played for example, just doesn’t work anymore in the modern game.

Joel has been in & around the first team for a while. He went on pre-season tour and had opportunities, and he hasn’t showed that he’s better than the players currently occupying those spots. Joel plays as box-box midfielder, and although he has the ability, he has not got the build to compete at this level yet, in that position.

In regards to McGuinness, from a business point of view it makes sense to sell him. There’s interest in him, he’s not irreplaceable, and it’s a sizeable chunk of money that can be used to reinvest in parts of the squad that we all see clearly needs strengthening.
