WHATS BULUTS PROBLEM WITH OUR ABUNDANCE OF CITY TALENT AGED 18,19,20,21,22 & 23 YEARS ???
THE OLDEST STARTING LINE UP IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP WAS CARDIFF CITY ON THE FIRST TWO CHAMPIONSHIP GAMES:
Cardiff fielded v Burnley the average of of 29 years old
Bulut never started a player under 26 years old.
Leeds average age was 24 yrs and 8 players under.
Sunderland average age was 22.
Boro / Coventry average age 25
Plus why has he been bringing in players either unfit, injury prone or not going to be ready to play for 2-3 months, yet he’s going for the Top 2 positions?????

Well I disagree 8 players under 24 you can’t say they are all not good enough as why would many of us praise them, Glen Williams call them Stars and Dalman etc etc countless times?
They have not had proper runs in the team and even Bulut said we had very good players coming through.
Plus if their not good enough like you say, then we are fucked as the older end certainly are not either upfront or in defence and the facts are their.
We all know not all these younger platers will not make it, but bloody hell let’s see them play.
Sunderland’s players certainly taught us a lesson at home.

I don't understand where this sudden change of tune has come from? Pre-season you and many other posters were saying that our youngsters aren't good enough, and now two games into the season you're complaining they're not playing. It doesn't make sense

we all thought Ruben was a superstar mate and he was the best of the bunch ( Deano )

Did I say they were All not good enough show me this ???
Plus I love it when our younger ones make it, I am a massive fan of Rubin, Joel Colwill and really like Conti.
I have been saying for years, everyone keeps bagging on about our younger players, but none of them make it.
Last season we finally produced the best group for years and yet my one starts yet before the season started Bukut was heaping praise on them.
They are not kids.

Rubin has at 23 yrs old played nearly 100 games for us and has never been given a decent run, fucked about by our manager.
I stand by this Rubins probably one of our best players in our squad.
Let’s see him play at least 5 starts in a row.
Funny you two coming in together and IPs from same area and quickly backing each other up / Hmmmmmmm?

Ok Deano,
Very weird though.
Welcome back
Listen I have always wanted our kids to do well beyond.
In the past they really have not been good enough.
By the way I am not a Bagan fan.
But i honestly believe and all the coaches do, the latest lot of about 9 of them aged 18-23 at least 3 should be in the match day squads or starting.
We can’t do any worse

If Cardiff won the league with the highest average age in the championship, would anyone care about it then?
Tue Aug 20, 2024 3:05 pm
Annis,
I think it’s obvious they aren’t good enough unfortunately.
The fact that not just Bulut, but so many other managers have not trusted the youth players too, says otherwise.
Tue Aug 20, 2024 3:07 pm
Annis completely agree about Ruben, with these injuries now to Ramsey etc, Bulut should be saying to him now is your time, I’ll be starting you for the next 5/6 games, he should be a regular starter anyway in my opinion, again such a shame about the injury to Isaak, he would have been a regular starter this season, rotten luck, but he’ll be back stronger.

Well if that’s true, we have totally fucked uo through our Academy.
But I stand by Rubin Colwill and Joel Colwill and say they are both good enough.
So why is it non stop in the media and on here and from our club and Bulut himself praising Eli King, Bagan , Conti etc etc etc ?????
Remember these players are not kids
Weird somehow they are all not good enough all of a sudden but the praising on here of them has been immense.
But I can tell you now Bulut’s current GrandDads army of an average age of 29 is def not, they football work together and so far beaten 7 nil.

Ruben is class my friend and deserves a proper run of at least 5 starts.
And Joel even better but they decided to f**k him off to League 2.
Every Coach right through Cardiff City Say they are our best two players that have come through.

I'm not sure Rubin could play 5 in a row, bigger risk if you ask me.
The way I see it, we needed more quality in order to give the youngsters a chance throughout the season.
As we know the championship is a brutal league, our youngsters would not cope unless they're fed into the season.
If we get halfway through the season and Bulit continues not to use them, I would then agree with you Annis

No, Not at all ,but so far they’ve been humiliated.
These need younger players mixing with them.
I can see and most can see we could not field 8 of our under 24’s, but its not working with all Dads army
And why do we continue to say all our Under 24’s are really good from Bulut himself , Purse , Dalman, Glen Williams and on here?
Answer that one please ?

Well unless we try with Rubin, We will never know will we?
They are not kids and will only become experienced by playing them.
That age seems to do well with other clubs, but not ours???
Do we continue with the current line up?
Anyway what do I know, Bulut says Top 2 , min Top 6.

Honestly, I love the lad conte and kapakio they can replace NG.
Colwill jury still out but if you don’t play him we won’t find out.
Robertson needs to now play. Ashford will come in for sure. They are all raving about the young kid up front against the gas. Should be in squad. Even Joel Colwill is a good player. Really impressed. Talent is coming through. Use them but don’t put pressure on them like we did with Davies and Colwill few years back.

Granddad's Army
I can’t work out Bulut my self, tactics far to defensive but we ve shipped goals so far, every team need to blood the youngster, end of last season would have been perfect, for some reason Bulut decided not to,with Cardiff have a bad start to the season, the chances he ll play the youngsters now are virtually zero
Tue Aug 20, 2024 3:52 pm
Another question the usual suspects avoided
Why do we sign so many unfit players and injury prone, when we needed them actually v Bristol Rivers in friendly and beyond.
Not 6/8/10 matches in.

We don’t agree on many things
However, I agree about the Colwill’s. Rubin’s ability is ridiculous, he just needs to harness it.
I agree about Joel, he’s a very very good player. Probably has more potential than Rubin, but physically he’s not ready for this level yet.
I think Joel will come back into the first team next season.
I like King too, but he’s not really a youngster anymore to be classed as one in my opinion. But, I think he will push into the team at some point this season too.

I don't know where this top six or top two talk has come from tbh if anyone really thinks that they are totally delusional if that's what's been said by the manager then he is also, all I've sent him say is hes trying to better last season position in interviews. Unless I've missed something where the manager has said we are going for top two or top six finish of course

He did say it when he first got a new contract but as time has gone on he’s moving away from it big time and No wonder
