All saying lack of ambition etc etc after we sold Peter Rodriquez, Barry Hole and a few others who could make a difference.
The first notice I took of all this was when we sold Gareth Williams who was our captain and midfield powerhouse. Since then we have a history of selling our best players and after 60 years you just shrug your shoulders and get on with supporting the team. Seeing McGuiness go is no surprise whatsoever but what does piss me off is that he's gone to a club which I consider to be far smaller than us, but they obviously have the ambition to use their parachute payments well.
Not to worry, players and managers come and go but we all carry on supporting.

Mcguiness our best player ? , he was in a defence that leaked 70 goals last term , decent enough but I would say very replaceable

To be fair wez, he was out injured for a lot of that, and our defense has leaked 7 goals already this season
