Sunday’s team

Thu Aug 22, 2024 8:51 pm

What do you think he’ll go with?

He said today Horvath will start, I thought he should have been dropped but there you go.

I also have a feeling he’ll go with three at the back.

Hopefully we have Ralls available.

If so, something like this:

Horvath
Chambers Goutas Daland
Ng Siopis Ralls Ramsey O’Dowda
Willock
Kanga

Robertson instead of Ramsey for me.

If Ralls is fit, the only change I can see from the last game is Daland for Chambers.

Unfortunately Bulut has his favourites and likes the older more experienced players.

Re: Sunday’s team

He will go with:

Hovarth

Ng Chambers Daland O'Dowda

Siopis Ralls

Meite Ramsey Willock

Kanga

I would go with:

Alnwick

Meite Fish Chambers Daland O'Dowda

Robinson Siopis Ralls

Ramsey

Kanga

Width comes from the wingbacks, when they go Sio or Ralls sit to make a back four.

Highly unlikely we’ll be seeing Ralls back for Swansea

Re: Sunday’s team

Fri Aug 23, 2024 5:03 am

I think he will pretty much go with same team as Burnley

But I think should be starting with
Alnwick
Ng daaland Chambers bagan
Willock ralls or robertson depending injury siopis odowda
Meite or kanga

Re: Sunday’s team

Fri Aug 23, 2024 7:22 am

Horvath

I'd start with this team and formation

Ng instead of Chambers who will replace Goutas as central defender

Hopefully we will have a very strong bench as well!!

Looks cracking attacking on paper, we'd leak more goals in reality but it would be interesting

He's fit enough to be on the bench with a slim possibility of starting.

Like I said, Bulut has said Horvath will start.

El Ghazi can only do 30mins as well.

I don’t see the issue with Horvath. He made a blunder and it didn’t really affect the outcome of the Burnley game

Apart from that, I think the starting XI should include Rambo as a key player. Who else understands the mentality of the fixture and who else from a Bluebird perspective has scored a winner against them in recent times?

It’s about time we regressed the balance and they would hate it to happen in their own cabbage patch…! :ayatollah:

Daland being younger than chambers. It's maybe more he thinks our youngest players are not ready

Re: Sunday’s team

The worry for me is that you know Bulut will set up too defensively, we will concede anyway and then have no means to create anything. Out performance at their hole last season was pathetic and unacceptable. I fear the same awaits.

Bulut has hinted that Daland will start and I can't see him dropping his favourite Goutas so I think it'll be Daland and Goutas at CB.

I don’t care who he picks to start. All I want is for them to have a good go down there. Too many times we’ve gone missing down West.

I hope we shut that prick ‘Luke Williams’ up.

I agree re team performance
Their manager told a reporter that we’re a decent side and could have won at Burnley.

I think he’s just putting that face on for the cameras.

I just hope come 5pm on Sunday he’s saying the better team won. And that’s us :bluebird: :bluescarf:

Re: Sunday’s team

I don't want this team to play, but this is what I THINK he will go with:

Horvath

Ng Chambers Daland O'Dowda

Robertson Siopis

Meite Ramsey Willock

Kanga

Re: Sunday’s team

Fri Aug 23, 2024 9:41 pm

Whatever team bulut picks WE MUST START ON THE FRONT FOOT FROM THE KO COME ON BLUEBIRDS

Re: Sunday’s team

Sat Aug 24, 2024 10:41 am

Horvath

Ng Chambers Daland Bagan

Robertson Ralls

Meite Ramsey Willock

Robinson

Colwill for Rambo
O'Dowda on one of the wings and Kanga last 10

For me, he was at fault for the first two goals at least. That absolutely would knock the stuffing out of you!

Something like this I reckon could do the job.

What’s all this 3 at the back? I’ve been wanting him to try it for ages. But he’s never done it with us, and he is unlikely to tomorrow. It’s Bulutball 4231 isolated striker end of. He does not budge even against lesser teams, cups or friendlies which are perfect opportunities to experiment. And you want him to experiment in a SWD? Jerks will pass their way through us. For once I actually want Bulutball to be its most rigid and stifling it can be! Contradiction I know. But it’s the scum. Any other team apart from Bristol I would be over the moon with such a bold change.

Just my opinion on what I think would work. Doesn’t mean he’s going to play it.

Yep, I'll be hugely surprised if Erol doesn't do exactly what you've described. I so want to be hugely surprised. Come on Erol, remove your self imposed straitjacket.
