The Swansea fans see O'Dowda as the weak link in our defence and are saying Ronald will take our left apart. If Tanner plays on the left then I have to agree.
If fit I would consider playing Ralls at left back and move O'Dowda to the wing.

But how will Ronald (whoever he is) cope with O Dowda getting forward??

If O'Dowda is left back then we won't be getting forward much.

Why won't he? Ronald (without the O) is not special ...... again city fan bigging up their players while downgrading city's ...

Has to put Bagan there.
O’Dowda positionally leaves too much space behind that Ronald will easily exploit.

I'd play Goutas as the right sided Centre half, Chambers as the left sided centre halve, and Daland left back, O'Dowda left wing, Willock Right Wing. if you have a target man like Kanga uptop you can't play with inverted inside forwards, as they don't supply the ball in they tend to try and cut inside, crowding out the middle, you need wide men to stay wide and get balls in the box
I'd leave Ralls on the bench, he's far to slow when we play the jacks, he ends up chasing shadows and gets yellow carded. Sio and Robertson for me.

Don't think Bagan is any better than O'Dowda defensive wise. I expect Daland to start alone side O'Dowda and give him greater cover than Goutas has in our last 2 league games.

Yes I think that too.

I also see odowda as weak link.
Not a defender. May be a wing back in a back 5 but awful as a defender. Easy targets - both full backs......

I'm thinking he might play daland at LB

Can Daland play left back, and would he be comfortable?
Haven’t seen him play for us, but looking at videos online he doesn’t look the quickest, and I feel if you play him left back he will get exposed by pacy winger.

How can anyone see Bagan as an improvement on O’Dowda !!??
Bagan cannot defend. It’s why 3 managers have now not picked Bagan !!O’Dowda is the only option we have for LB as Ralls really would struggle pace wise.

You think O’Dowda is a better option, where bearing in mind the first two games of the season, the left side has been constantly exploited in behind?
On the other hand, we have Bagan who started out at left back, is good technically, and all of pre-season has slotted into the centre of defence with minimal problems.

They won’t worry about that we won’t get forward. Bulut won’t allow it.

No, I don’t think O’Dowda is “the answer” I said he’s the only option.
Bagan is not a good enough left back defensively to be anywhere near the first XI.
I’m not saying he can’t play elsewhere as you have suggested but I am saying he is not a good enough defensively to play left back.

Possible Ng goes left back and chambers right back. But o dowda must star on wing of this happens.
I think he is decent enough left back very attacking and we need to go for it tomorrow

I didn’t say “the answer” I said “better option” personally I don’t think so, but each to their own.
