Erol Bulut:
Erol Bulut has urged Ollie Tanner he must take care of himself outside of training and matches and "lose a few kilos" in weight if he is to start producing regularly

Erol Bulut:
"Also I think he must take care about his food. He has a few kilos he has to lose. We spoke with him about that and he knows that so he’s taking care with that now.
“If he concentrates, trains well and takes care of his life, he will give good performances. Every player needs to take care of their private lives, not just at training and then it’s finished. It’s 24 hours a day, you must take care of yourself. Younger players are a little bit different to experienced players but they must learn from the experienced players.
"Professional players don’t just play on a Saturday or Sunday, it continues with food, with resting, with taking care of your body. Every day you have to be ready.”

Spent his footballing youth at a low level and never had an academy education. The gaffer's right, take off 3 or 4 kilo's and you have a player that can last 90mins at this level.

Totally agree with the manager's words, but surely this should be drilled into all players in their early days at the club.
He's been with Cardiff a while now and should not have to be reminded of the importance of his diet and weight.
Hopefully, he will take heed!

Why is it necessary to go public with this , should be a private conversation,
Poor man management.
When Ramsay has a poor game Bulut never criticises him but finds it easy to criticise the youngsters .

If you watch the video of the press conference, Bulut was actually giving him credit.
His point was that he and his staff had told Tanner to lose a bit of weight, which he has.
So before you turn it into yet another opportunity to have a go at Bulut, actually consider what it’s all about.
No problem with people not liking his tactics (I criticised them recently), but things like this annoy me.

Thierry henri was an impeccable example during his playing career

I am replying to the post not the video , but you have no issue with the post? Just my response?
Still unnecessary words.

I’m sure Bulut won’t sleep tonight because you’ve decided his words are unnecessary.
I said this when Morison got stick for publicly criticising young players, that players should be big enough to take it. Whether it’s public or private.
Bulut can say what he wants, he’s Tanner’s boss.

Bulut can say what he likes but my point is if he wants every once out of a player he got to be smarter . Put it like this , if your boss criticised you publicly - how would you feel about it ?
We can all handle being criticised by our bosses but publicly? Come on . Show the player some respect.

I wonder if you’re the same clown on X last night hiding behind a Hamster profile name saying the same thing
Fri Aug 30, 2024 12:26 pm
Nope not me , not on x
2 people with the same point of view , what a shock
So anyone with a different point of view to yours is a clown ?
Let’s not forget where we are in the league , Buluts methods have got us there and I will go further with the criticism of Bulut , Bulut never criticises his own signings , Goitas and Siopis are not good enough but he doesn’t criticise them or himself , Bulut is full of excuses and it’s always someone else’s fault . How people can’t see this is beyond me .
