FA charges Bulut after red card at Swansea

The Football Association (FA) has charged Cardiff City manager Erol Bulut with misconduct after he was sent off during last Sunday's 1-1 draw at Swansea City.


Referee Oliver Langford showed Bulut a red card in added time as the Bluebirds boss appeared to refuse to give the ball back to Swansea's players, prompting a melee.


Cardiff have appealed against the dismissal and, as they wait to discover the outcome, Bulut will be allowed on the touchline for Saturday's home Championship match against Middlesbrough.



An FA spokesperson said: "It's alleged that the manager's behaviour around the 96th minute was improper. He has until tomorrow, 30 August, to provide a response."

The ref's performance in that game was a joke - After that Red ... 4 yellows from 90+7 mins

But none before that point ...

The ref was dire and the FA need to see what Belut was doing and when the jack players reacted in the way they did when it was clear Belut was protecting a player with a head injury then what should have happened clearly in football rules is both Jacks should have been booked without doubt one of them.

Terrible decision but not shocked the officials are rubbish in this country and sadly our fa are worse

NG was physically assaulted several times whilst celebrating our goal, will their player also be charged

If the charge is "impersonating a Championship manager" then he hasn't got a leg to stand on.
