Man u vs Liverpool

Sun Sep 01, 2024 3:35 pm

I am watching an elite game where nearly every pass is forward. Players, even the older ones traveling forward with the ball, pass sidewards or backward just to change the point of the initial attack.

We play an outdated version of the possession game. The Turkish league is unique, it doesn't travel.

Are you watching the same game as me?

Every time Dalot or Mazraoui have a throw level with the Liverpool penalty area, they throw it backwards and it ends up back with Onana.

Casemiro reminds me of Siopis. Runs around so it looks like he’s doing a lot but gives the ball away easily.

Thought the same.

Ten Hag on the touchline looked just as empty as Bulut does at the moment.

Bulut is a btec Ten Hag.

Still to this day, they can't figure out what style of play they're trying to achieve and make a simple game look so complicated.

Yeah I posted this before Casemiro showed why football is a young man’s game

We are a Btec Man United, I suppose United fan Dalman got his wish

The point I was trying to make was modern football isn’t possession for possession sake like Bulut believes, it’s about attacking

Liverpool made it look so easy.

Could have easily been 5 or 6

Did anyone listen to the postmatch analysis. They concentrated on Liverpool's midfield 3 in the centre. It was an absolute master-class on how those 3 should play and compliment each other. They were superb. Somehow they always seemed to outnumber the opposition, whether that be in attack or defence. And the runs that the more attacking 1 of those 3 made was brilliant.

If only....
