It’s not the strikers fault.

I see this being used as an excuse for the past 4 or 5 seasons and the strikers are always our scapegoats for the lack of goals. They are not the issue.

The issue is that our style of play does not create enough chances. We could have Kieffer Moore up front this season and he would still be isolated with no runners beyond him.

There’s a long list of strikers that have come to Cardiff, failed and then gone on to deliver elsewhere. It’s about time we looked at the root cause of this which is our pathetic style of play that creates zero clean cut chances for the strikers we have got.

In my opinion a better, more adaptable manager would get this team scoring goals.

Totally agree, I've been saying the same for months. Whoever the striker is, he's got a very hard, almost impossible job in Bulut's setup. We have plenty of creative players but the style of play puts restrictions on their natural talent.

The players are there, we just need a modern manager to manage them and let their natural ability show.

Whenever people make an argument about why strikers don't score those that say there usless ect ect don't actually look at way we use them... take Saturday kanga is 6ft+ yet can anyone say he was given a decent cross to connect to? Yes we're crosses in box but not one was aimed at him in particular or if was went no where he could attack ball.... yes he gets half chances but even haarland doesn't score from those much.... kanga mostly recieves ball 40yrd out facing his own goal with no backup and people wonder why he doesn't score It's not rocket science ..... and can anyone tell me why we used our other striker" miete" as a right winger that's like using haarland at fullback pointless.

Sorry but I don’t agree.

It’s not just about the striker actually scoring, in this formation they also have to give you an outlet and an ability to hold the ball up and bring others into the game and get the WHOLE team up the pitch.

Kanga, doesn’t hold it up, wins little in the air, doesn’t make runs in behind and I’m struggling the think of an instance on Saturday where he linked the play.

It’s massively important for the striker to at least contribute a few of those things but Kanga doesn’t.

Robinson has the ability to make runs in behind and link the play so Bulut has that option. It was noticeable how much better we looked when Robinson came on against the Jacks even if you ignore the goal.

Bulut picks the team and, particularly when you have better options, you have to take responsibility for poor performances.

He needs to make significant changes very quickly or he’ll be gone by the end of September in my opinion.
