DERBY COUNTY:
Nat Phillips (and 5 players) : Surely someone of his stature and ability must figure In Derby’s team against us …..at least on the bench …..if they don’t want to change their winning team who beat Bristol City - last time out .
Whatever …..it is interesting to note that there are 5 ex Bluebirds on their books ….. Nelson , Phillips , Adams , Mendez-Laing and Luthra (not even on the bench - as they signed a new first choice GK).
Personally , I do not read anything into it …but it is rather unusual to have 5 players all exes from another team .
Do we have any of our ex coaching staff or scouts employed by them ?
Would you have any of our 5 exes in our team today ?
Are you concerned about any of them playing against us ?
I guess that Nelson and Mendez-Laing and Adams will almost definately start . Phillips is 50/50 to start along side Nelson as the two C1/2 .
I believe they will start with the same team that beat Bristol 3-0 …..but if they change then Phillips and Ben Osborn an influential player who will go left back.
