Rubin Colwill is Cardiff's most dynamic attacking threat and he simply isn't playing enough minutes. By hook or by crook, City's attack needs to be built around the Wales international, whose talents are not being fully utilised."

Unfortunately for Rubin it seems that every time he starts a game he's nowhere near as effective as when he comes on as a substitute.
Except in the Southampton game of course!

I think this is because no one in our team that is attacking minded gets a good run of games. Colwill (and robinson) starts one if he's lucky or comes on in the 60th - 70th, usually when we are losing.
If I was him or advising him id be going somewhere that I can play more games and improve, like Harris.
It's clear that bulut does not like players who concentrate on attack. Fair enough you have to help the team out, but sometimes the best form of defence is attacking.
I think if he played Colwill for 5/10 games in a row, in his correct position, focusing on getting forward we would see a massive improvement.

And who is effective when starting in the straightjacket system of Bulut?

I can't see Rubin being a big part of Bellers nigh-on, high-risk, all-out press game. I wonder if the late camp call-up was to give him a taste of where football is going and what he'll need to do to be part of that world.
To say Buluts football is the opposite is an understatement, so in theory, Rubin should fit in apart from its low risk/low reward and Rubin is high-risk/ high reward. I think Bulut is on very thin ice, getting sacked from Cardiff will destroy any chances that any other British club would take him on and i reckon that could spread throughout northern football, his football doesn't travel.
So i think it will be shit or bust time. He has to try to save his reputation from just being an overachieving small/second-tier Turkish club manager who will struggle to ever get a decent club again. So I can see him having to turn to Rubin to save his arse.

Colwill and Tanner are having the creativity drummed out if them for fear of losing the ball and then getting blamed and then not getting game time.
We are managed in a straightjacket. Everyone just passing about, not trying to get creative as it's too risky. The irony them is we play in our own box, inviting risk.
Bulut is not for adapting. And it seems that will ultimately be his downfall....
Colwill and Tanner may need to be backed, get a run of games, be supported, get some love. He does this with meite and odowda at LB. So the hypocrisy is also there. I think Buluts time may be doomed, whatever happens in next 2 games..
