As Tan takes us on another worse run in our 125 year history under him, will Wrexham not only get promoted, but take our place?
A small Town like Wrexham
When Wrexham were Non League, Cardiff were one game away from the Premier League , Cardiff are now Bottom of the Championship, as Wrexham have climbed 2 leagues and stand Top of the league between us
Very early days yet, but still a little bit worrying.
Wrexham 3 Shrewsbury 0

I cant see us going down even with Bulut in charge but a fair chance Wrexham will come up and finish higher than us next season.

Fair play to them they are doing well at the moment and they done the right thing by employing someone who knows the game to run things.
Will they match two premier league promotions and a league and fa cup final like tan did I doubt it.
But tan can definitely learn some things from them in how to get the club back together and employ someone who knows the game.

Itis early days but looking at that League I see a number of clubs overtaking them.
Birmingham are my favourites to win this league with a number of clubs that have the experience to do well like Barnsley, Peterborough, Huddersfield and Reading. If Wrexham can hold themselves equal to those clubs they will be up there.

When do the financial rules start tto apply to them ? Building the new stand isn’t going to come cheap.

Infrastructure doesn't count when comes to ffp... but as you progress so does the cost and at some point will have to take ffp into account as div 1 & 2 have slightly different ffp rules.

They have the same rules as everyone else in their division. Why would you think any differently? Sour grapes?
I watched the game yesterday & they were always looking to go forward & score but Shrewsbury weren't very good.
I keep thinking they will settle mid table but they didn't last season so maybe they will this season, the old third division was always where I remember them being.

Not sure there owners have the money for the next level of investment needed in the championship , they will definitely need more capital.

I agree, can’t see them staying up there.
There are better teams in the league than them with better managers.
I have long said that Parkinson will struggle at League One level because he has before. He can do League Two well but League One is completely different.
The going will get tough at some point and I can’t see him handling the pressure well.
By the way the team they beat yesterday were Shrewsbury and they are seen by many to be the worst team in the league so it’s not a hugely impressive result.

I am not sure how big a following in the States they have, but this is where it may come from in substantial amounts. Wrexham are no longer a football club they are a Hollywood story and their followers and backers abroad will by waiting for the next exciting episode. The Rocky of the football world.

Wish Rob and Ryan had taken the reigns at Cardiff before Wrexham

I agree mate, the glamour of Hollywood and the glamour or the premier league. Tgey could adopt it as they surrogate team imagine the possibilities of investment from Hollywood. I can see them be an established premier league team in 7 years.

Bearing in mind this was 12 months ago will be much more now .
THE ANNUAL financial statement for Wrexham AFC has been revealed confirming a loss of over £5m. Income was increased across the board, with the most significant with the club's retail operation, which reached £3.430m (2022: £1.303m). Sponsorship and advertising income also increased, rising to £1.883m (2022: £1.053m).

A lot of it is about marketing! i looked at wrexham the other day on news now and they they had four times as many posts on different sites than Cardiff. I think their marketing gains them support.
