This Saturday we face Derby , a team that has just gained promotion from the first division and who are one of the favorites to get relegated .
Please remember that I am making a comparison between us and a relatively poor team …..and not with any of the top teams in the Championship .
Remember that according to Tan and Bulut …..we are targeting automatic promotion ….with the playoffs as the absolute minimum.
Derby have 6 ex Cardiff City players in the first team squad.
The most interesting thing for us is the highly unusual situation where almost certainly 5 of the Derby players - this Saturday- are ex Bluebirds.
Derby has 6 ex Cardiff players : (1) Curtis Nelson - C1/2 ….a definite starter .
(2) Nat Phillips - C1/2 …..a very likely starter .
(3) Ebou Adams - MF ….a definite starter .
(4) Nathaniel Mendez-Laing - Left Wing …..a definite starter.
(5) James Collins - Forward ….certainly on the bench (at least).
(6) Rohan Luthra - GK ….definately not even on the bench.
So let us compare our past with our present ….a comparison with players we let go ….for a variety of reasons :
(1) C1/2 : We have any two from Daland , Chambers or Goutas …..they counter that with Nelson and Phillips . Who is better ?
(2) In Midfield they have our ex Adams (with the highly rated Crystal Palace loanee -David Ozoh)……we have any two from Siopis , Ralls or Robertson . Who is better ?
(3) on the left wing they have their Captain …. Mendez-Laing ….we are countering that with Willock . Who is better ?
(4) Up front they will most probably start with the Swansea loanee … Yates ….but certainly our ex James Collins will be on the bench …..and will almost certainly get involved. We are countering that with Kanga or Robinson . Who is better ?
I accept that those comparisons are pretty loose and that they do not cover the whole pitch ……but the point I am making is that 5 of our ex players are almost certainly going to be facing 5 of our present Bulut’s team .
The question it boils down to is … over the last few years have we really improved ? …..and remember that we are comparing us with probably a mediocre Derby side ….never mind the many better teams in the Championship.
We are comparing 5 of our present players with 5 players we let go .
Finally - in a general way ….are the Board (who are really Tan) improving us over those few years ? ….or are they letting us down ?
The big question today is …..will those Derby 5 ….the ones we let go …..come to haunt us ?

There is that possibility they have that added bit of something to bite on x club etc.
Our motivation should be that we embarrassingly on our ars.s sitting on the bottom
and if bulut plays this defensive after all the hype from him,
about how there will be BIG CHANGES but it has to be tactics not so much personel hsving said that if he starts with miete AGAIN i shall be booing from the sidlines if he plays defensive
There is only much a fan can take i had my fill last season with rotherham away and this season,
well the league tables does'nt lie.

Attack is the best form of defence.
When were fannying around, playing it at the back, there is more Chance of conceding a goal than scoring one.
I liked how Bellars set the wish side up during the week and I like the tempo they played. I hope we do likewise
