A forum for all things Cardiff City

Sky Sports pundit David Prutton admits he's worried by Cardiff City's underwhelming start to the season, but says boss Erol Bulut deserves time to turn things around.
Cardiff are currently rock bottom of the Championship, having taken just one point from their opening four games of the season, with a massive game away at Derby County just around the corner.
"You've got to be worried about it, but then you've got to put it into context," Prutton said on the Sky Sports Championship Catch-up podcast.
"What do we expect from Cardiff this season?
"Are we looking at a team that should be in the top six or should be in the top half?
"That's not me dialling down what their expectations are because it is a club with recent Premier League history.
"There's experience there to be competitive in the Championship, but I just don't know where they see themselves.
"That's not to condescend Cardiff fans, it's a huge, huge football club and a very proud part of that particular country, but something's got to give.
"Broadly under Erol Bulut, they've been okay, but not really knocked on the door of the top six.
"There was some brief flirting with it last season, but they were quite well away from it come the last knockings.
"If it sounds a bit vague, that's because it is vague, I don't quite know what we as experts expect from Cardiff.
"We've spoken about the division maybe not being as strong with a couple of standout candidates so far, but where do we see them?"

Lose tomorrow and it's curtains for Bulut and we will be in relegation trouble.

I'm not at the point where I'm worrying just yet.
We are on a worrying trajectory but i don't feel it's that bad right now. We have time.
Bulut needs to either change things or leave,

I think Prutton is fair with his summary. Nobody really knows what we should be looking to do in this league.
