I am really unhappy with myself attaching so much importance to the Derby game .


It should really be just another game …..but it really is not !

We can not keep losing !! It is a fact that Derby has 6 players who we let go ….for various reasons …. 5 of those 6 will most likely play play against us (possibly one will come off the bench) .



If these players were better than what we’ve got …..we would not have let them go ! Clearly we as a Club and/or as Bulut believe that we now have better players.


From my personal point of view , I will be very disappointed if we lose as we are capable of beating them.


I maintain that if we lose …..it will not be because we are a worse team …..but because either Bulut failed to set up the team and his tactics properly …….or because our players do not have enough spunk about them to rise to this important ‘must win’ game.

I can't remember when we have such an importance to a game.

I've been waiting for our bubble to burst for a few seasons now where I think we will go down. It just feels to me tha time has come.

If we don't get a result from this game we will all be thinking a relegation fight. Great season to look forward to. Thanks Tan, Dalman and Choo.

Letting players go who then play at this level successfully can happen for a number of reasons but quite high up there is the lack of effective management and coaching.

Oxford have a few of our ex players who on the face of it we were happy to let go but they are playing far better than their counterparts in our team currently.

Their time in the championship. Their failure to make it with us.

This could be down to tactics from our managers of course.

We are in a same position we were in Jan/Feb when players came in late and needed at least 4 games to sort things out .

We are now at this point - Let's hope the International break - brings us better results

So the international break should have been a time for a reset and to really change up the game plan a bit.

I think we are a victim a bit of the fact we have players away on international duty.

Last season the Oxford manager who is now so widely revered was under pressure prior to an international break. Not long after starting it wasn’t working and he was under pressure. Oxford had an international break and post break they were a different team. Suddenly the press worked and the team was transformed.

He had all his players though.

Oxford also did their business early in the transfer window.
