You keep saying this on numerous threads but did it ever occur to you that he was there because he wanted to be? He can make himself unavailable or tell the manager he's not fit so I don't know how in the hell it's the managers fault.

I don't think he had to. He had a choice.

He doesn't have any caps, so it would be good for him to be in and around the set up.

A giveaway for what exactly ? That he should do as you think & not what he wants to do? He obviously had no intention of playing & obviously wanted to around the set up for a couple of days to show that he wants to play when he's fit, but obviously that's not good enough for you.

I just don't get why you keep ranting about international managers picking players when it's ultimately the player who decides if he wants to travel & be around things when given the opportunity.
