If he scores this weekend, Mark Harris will become the first

Thu Sep 12, 2024 2:58 pm

If he scores this weekend, Mark Harris will become the first player in Championship history to score in each of his team’s first 5⃣ games of a season.

Only Erling Haaland has scored more goals than him in 2024 across England’s top four divisions.

Who would have thought, he just needed a chance, I hope Cardiff learns from this, instead of buying look at what we have around us first,we are so eager to let the youngsters go, that's down to the management we have.

3 managers didn’t rate him and the vast majority of our fans didn’t. Hindsight is a wonderful thing though.

Good on him, he left to better his career, backed himself and its paying off!

Our loss for sure.

Thats great for him and I'm glad he's doing well.

We will never know if he would have reached this level with City if we hadn't let him go.

Never really given a great chance here but ultimately 3 different managers didn't really rate him.

Somewhat a late bloomer these days.

He always gave 100% for Cardiff and I wanted him to succeed for us. Just goes to show what a player can do if a team plays to his strengths.

Good luck to him, I really hope he scores Saturday.

Maybe the question should be how good were those 3 managers.

I think the one year of smashing goals in at League 1 has definitely helped but the biggest thing young player's need is positive manager's who knows how
Keep them confident. Harris has got that at Oxford and he's flying.

Playing up top in the middle makes a difference mind. He was stuck out wide of us when he did come on most the time so expected at a club who play different styles of attacking football. We play neither of them currently nore did we hardly when he was here to be fair. I can't remember the last time we played two next to eachother up top.

Our fans don’t like our youngsters anyway, always “too old”.

It’s never about age, it’s development and experience. This is why loans are good, get the experience and work on your game.

He had his chance, he wasn't ready for us at the time. He needed to develop. Leaving us and going to L1 was exactly what he needed.

Chuffed for him.

Well he didn’t score, can we stop going on about him every week now?
