In my opinion, he isn't. He isn't on a small wage. Last season he only managed 90 minutes twice, and was injured for most of the season.
According to Transfermrkt his salary is 50k.
Last season:
Appearances: 13
Minutes played: 717
Goals: 3
Assists: 0
This season:
Appearances: 4
Minutes played: 360
Goals: 0
Assists: 0
Attacking midfielder with those stats and that salary just isn't good enough, and we could have brought in a striker on those wages which is more important.

Played well for Bellamy...I think he's lost under bullutt..same as the rest of the team

No
The reason isnt just down to fitness , age and injuries. I think Erol Bulut is the wrong manager and style of football for him.

Agree.
Oh for an attack minded modern young manager, this squad would shine.

Not only is he worth the money but if Bulut gets the boot I would make him player manager until/if we get a good replacement manager. He certainly couldn't do much worse & would, I believe, play an attacking game.

Without a doubt NO

Consistently we have had managers Brought in who use the players badly, put some in wrong positions, and who play dour ir awkward football for the squad strengths available.
This makes players look shite or like cnuts.
I always tell my son about Glatzel and how good we could have had it if we played to his strengths, same story with other strikers or luxury midfielders like colwill etc.
These players are thought of as not good enough by many either.
No doubt, Ramsey will be seen as shite, he's made if glass and a yard slower which doesn't help. But ultimately. It's the shower at the top who chop and change the managers who in-turn re stock squad after squad and grow our debts and lose little gems.

What he has done to be anywhere worth the money we’re paying him?

In my opinion he's one of the best players in the league, injuries happen to everyone & when he has been fit Bulut has run him into the ground & not played him correctly. He's done more in his career than 99% of football players playing now & is still playing international football. No doubt there are players here that wouldn't be if he wasn't & he should be helping the younger players with his footballing brain.
He's worth every penny in my opinion, just because it's different to your opinion doesn't make it any less valid.

He's not on 50k a week it's more than 1/2 that

I didn’t say your point was valid but mine is based on what he’s done for Cardiff and apart from the Leicester strike and Swansea penalty he’s done nothing

After Robbie Flower Trevor Sinclair etc you'd think steve borley would have advised no, after all he
is on the transfer committee isn't he? .
Fri Sep 13, 2024 6:54 pm
No. He isn't making the impact in games that I hoped.
He hasn't been fully fit for at least 4 seasons. His last 30 game return was for Juventus, 4 clubs ago.
We're flogging a dead horse, sadly.

He isn’t being utilised in the right way! He needs to be played in his correct position and rested appropriately, he’s still class!
