It was over 10 years ago now so I may have just forgot.

Does anyone know why TG left his role as Chairman?

He cared about the club.

My understanding at the time was that he didn’t have the money to properly take the club forward which is why he got Tan to invest and eventually take over.

Tan obviously has a lot more money than he does.
