My Opinion - Today's Game

Will be a bit of a long post, so bare with me.

Its very frustrating. Its every bloody game.

We come out and sit back, passing the ball around and inviting pressure until we go 1 down, and then we actually try to look like a professional football team.

Why does it always take us being behind?

I feel that there are limited positives to take from today.

Alnwick had a decent game and had no chance for the goal. Thought Bagan did ok to a certain extent also. Fish looked alright when he came on. Siopis was everywhere.

We looked better when Colwill was given the ability to free roam and try to create.

Other than that, not much to be happy about.

We tried to play some different football to how we normally play. Seemed to be a lot more of a direct approach in the first half, but with one striker up front and no real support, it doesn't work and wasn't going to.

Second half we played a bit more of a passing game and at times looked like the better team, BUT as usual, toothless upfront and no end product in the final third. Passes to nowhere, wrong choices made (Ralls had COD open in the box and decided to shoot - why?)

We are getting broken down far too easily. It's as if we switch off far too easily.

Ng was poor again. Glad he was taken off. This season he seems to be spending all of his time trying to wind up the other team, as opposed to doing what has made him our best player the last two seasons.

COD looked lost in my opinion on the wing - looked far more comfortable when Bagan went off and went to left back.

We looked somewhat dangerous from corners but that's not where we should be most dangerous.

We have lost to a team made of Cardiff rejects and a Swansea reject.

We aren't good enough. Tactics aren't good enough. Not enough fight and it needs to change now before we end up completely screwed.

On a side note I thought the referee was abysmal throughout also.

Siopis better when Ralls went off, don't need 2 dms
Rubin is better roaming and deeper than a second striker/10
the wide players are too wide becuase unless we are behind the fullback never overlap
If Kanga is not a Kieffer hold-up guy then he is pointless as he can't/won't run in behind

Agree with that, we have one build up and one build up only.

We don't have any real free flowing football where teams wonder what's coming next. It's easy to defend against.
