Don't get me wrong I don't think he should stay.
But who is available that plays a more attacking game, will have a plan B, and is affordable to Tan considering he will have to pay EB off as well.
Giggs, could we afford him ?
Jones already doing well at Coventry so why leave to what some will see as a poisen chalice ?
I would not want to go old school like a Houghton or Mcleash
Anyone with any realistic suggestions from who is available and why ?

Nathan Jones seems logical.
He plays the style of football we are trying to play, and the players here should fit that style on paper.
He’s a Cardiff supporter, and although he’s had mixed results managing elsewhere, he’s a Cardiff supporter, and you know he will give it everything.

Ramsey’s just completed UEFA licenses with FAW, he’s definitely an option as a current injured player and certainly looks like that’s the way he wants to go. Not ideal but certainly an affordable option.
Ideally though it should be Bellamy but we all know he won’t come back whilst we’re under the dictatorship of emporer tan!!
Really leaves us with slim pickings

Giggs

All out to get Nathan Jones, that’s if he will come to us under our hierarchy!

We will probably get Rob Page.

Nathan Jones cardiff through and through

Whichever candidate can deliver a plan of progression. We're in a stinking rut of nothingness at the moment.

Rosenior is available...

I don't think Jones would leave Charlton.
Hes doing well and he normally likes to see things through.
Sat Sep 14, 2024 5:23 pm
Lampard?
did wonders with derby.
Knowing Tan's mind he would probably consider Solkaer return
Or maybe Chris Coleman

If he is sacked then I fear that Purse will get the gig as an interim to the end of the season and then we are well and truly done!

Tan will want Steve Morison

He left Luton for Stoke for £££ then flopped and returned. He'd come to us.

Why would he?
What says we are going to give £££? Can't see us paying anything in compensation either.

Not many options in truth. A safe appointment would be Gary Rowett. Pushed top 6 with Millwall to be fair! I wouldn't mind Slaven Bilic

Cool opinion. Your "he likes to see things through" wasn't accurate and I'm sure I read somewhere that Bulut is in the top earners in the division; so we do pay.

Someone who thinks Cardiff is a stepping stone to something better if he does well. Wouldn’t it be nice to get compensation as he did well , rather than getting sacked as he was useless. Giggs and Ramsey for me.

I can get on board with either one but both together I'm not so sure about.

Good shout actually

Giggs beat his mrs up and pumped his brothers pregnant wife. I'd rather get relagated.
Sat Sep 14, 2024 7:09 pm
I hoped they've been looking since boro game.
This was inevitable.
In business, hope for the best, plan for the worst. We need someone in after Leeds game, we then need a few games to steady the ship.... That's up to 11 games at bottom before we get some shape.
Surely even those football fckwits in charge would know that.....
Sat Sep 14, 2024 7:54 pm
Michael Beale or Valerien Ismael would be my choice.
Both youngish managers with championship experience. Ismael tends to play a 433 attacking style of football.

Ahhh he came up in another discussion before game so he's out of running!

If he goes, I'd like us to go for Nathan Jones. Failing that Gary Rowett. But I don't trust our board to get it right in any way shape or form.

The knob couldnt even come and acknowledge the travelling fans today. I have been silent with the bulet out talk... but that is unforgiveable for me. Get out now. Even the ex city players for derby came and clapped us. 0 respect for the support. He swapped the donkey up top... for cian ashford ffs! In the same rigid 451 formation... coukdnt believe what was going on!
