Derby atmosphere before kick off

Sun Sep 15, 2024 10:53 am

The club need to take a leaf out of Derby’s book.

They had the big screen on for about half hour before kick off. Constantly playing motivating music. They had motivating videos of the heritage of the club as well as videos of the club winning games, getting promoted and just general positivity.

Is Wayne Nash still in charge of this kind of stuff because I can’t recall anything like that down city

Good post and a very valid point. This should be a boardroom issue and something that the FAB should be pushing which in fairness, they may well be.

I hope somethings being done but it’s been the same for years!

All we seem to get is ‘it’s time to play the gameeeeee mahahhahah’ the old wrestling song!

Very good post.

Our stadium is looking tired. We have zero presence in the city centre or suburbs. Let alone the Vale or valleys. I care about this stuff, not just match day experience but reaching out to prospective fans, schools etc. it’s just having this unloved lethargic feel about it from the boardroom to the canton stand being outsung by small followings of away fans. The club needs another rebrand in its anniversary year, this time a positive, respectful proactive modern one. We are a one team capital city club FFS so much potential

100% agree and more needs to be done.

It’s flat on match days and I big part of it will be down to how bad our home record is. Crowds are getting lower and lower and a lot of the time it can feel like a chore coming down at the moment.

The anniversary kits were a massive let down and it just feels like one thing after the other at the moment
