To everyone on here that continuously blamed the players for the poor performances this season and last season, you should now see how good a squad we really have now that the entire root of the problem has been sacked.

Not many people think we didn't recruit fairly well in summer? There's plenty of goals in the team if it is used in right way.... next 3 games or so will see if they are better than they've been portrade....

The squad is full of talented players who have been shackled by Bulut's outdated coaching methods. It may take longer than 3 weeks for them to shake off the negative style of playing, especially those that were here last season, but I have every confidence that they will succeed and we'll move up the table.

Was thinking you would see a difference in way we played and yes take awhile to get going but as I've said in another post championship is a poor league regarding the football and in reality city could and should have won 2 or 3 games if wasn't for buluts defensive strategy

Robertson Colwill Robinson enghazi all got goals in them even Kanga but if can't go beyond last defender they'll never produce goals... why not play 352 formation with 2 holding midfielders that will be more of an attacking intent than 9-1 formation he normally plays .

Whilst I don't disagree that Bulut is hugely culpable for our failings, is this squad really that good? Better than bottom of the league perhaps but I think we have to lower our expectations. There are lot of mediocre players at City and our forward line is poor no matter who comes in. We are in a dogfight to stay up and it won't be easy. First step in the right direction is a new manager though.

The manager is only part of the problem here.
We have needed a proper football man in as Director of Football for years ….the board are clueless when it comes to players.
Who signs a striker then loans him out when u have 2 strikers already injured?????
And the players are supposed to be professional but have downed tools so a few have questions to answer too.
We don’t have time or funds for a squad rebuild so need the new manager to crack on with what we have got

Mike you and I agreed for many many months about wanting Bulut out, but I dont agree we have a squad of talented players. We have scored one derby day counter attack goal all season. How many players in our squad would get into any team currently in the top half? We are weak at goalkeeper and full backs. Daland, Fish and Goutas make us good at Centre back but not Chambers. We are weak in midfield, Robertson could kick on if given the chance, wide Willock has flattered to deceive, Tanner is very inconsistent and maybe a league 1 player at best, El Ghazi jury is out as he is not match fit, Im a big Rubin fan and optimist, but upfront we are absolutely pathetic. Any talent was coached out of them by Bulut.

I see your point that maybe under a new gaffer and system we could see the real versions of these players.

With these idiots running the show, their form for hiring and firing I genuinely feel league 1 is a massive possibility more than any time since we got to the championship including when Reading saved us. And who would want to come to City, take on this squad, one goal all season, no philosophy or foundations, heads down, no fight and worst of all working for the hapless dictator and his two breadhead sidemen. Its rotten from years of gross mismanagement

On to Hull

Im looking forward to use acting like the home team at home. First half vs Leeds we rarely had more then 3 players up in the opposition half. Kanga had 2 defenders on him at all times.

Colwill run up with the ball no one near him for 40 yards, Kanga man marked and you had Ampadu acting as a shield.

Only time we had more foward is when Bagan played that nice diagonal

It’s a group of average players who could be doing better the only thing that concerns me these players are all lacking pace and stamina which u need in abondance the modern game is played with a good press and counter attacking with pace
