Its been said that Bulut was on significantly more than the average championship manager multiple times on here - I've had a look around and found a survey from 2020 which states the below:

"Again though, those figures pale into insignificance when compared to the Championship, where the highest-paid boss is on an eye-watering £3.46m a year, and the average manager wage is £878,000 per annum."

Now I can only assume that wages have gone up since then.

If that's the case, then we are paying below average, not higher than average.

Your forgetting the bonuses, the payoff won't include that .

Wouldn't surprise me if the club had put bonuses in there for Clean Sheets. Maybe that was why he kept playing dire football
