I liked Bulut. I thought he was honest - a quality I respect - and he was amiable (great for reporters). So I was probably one of the last to give up on him but I did so in the end because he wasn't getting results (to put it mildly).
But this leads to the obvious question 'Why?' Was it man-management? Some on here have said that there was some discontent with his harsh management style and the way he treated Tanner, Robinson and Wintle for example. Or was it his lack of nouce regarding football matters including style of play. Some have criticised his training methods which may have resulted in the players being unprepared for Championship football. Or maybe Tan didn't provide sufficient funds to create a successful Championship team.
What do you think?

His complete inability to change tactics (along with the other things you’ve mentioned).
Too stubborn
Not a good man manager
Played players out of position and not to their strengths
Never accepted responsibility for anything
Persisted with players that were absolutely shocking
Didn’t realise you need to score goals to win football matches.
In general absolutely awful manager.

He lost the dressing room.
Players didn't want to play for him.
There's still a fair few players though who have downed tools, they should go.
Don't want to play for the shirt then f off

Blaming everyone but himself.
Publicly calling players out.
Lack of tactical guile to manage in the Championship.
Having his mate 'Nikos' as a coach.

I always supported him throughout last season and going into this season.
That's because I thought he credit in the bank from a good first half of last season, which effectively took away the threat of relegation.
But if we're all honest, the warning signs were there. Particularly since Christmas.
Things were bad in the final months of last season but they were even worse this season.
In the end, there was no choice but to let him go.
All of us who were calling him for stay, for the sake of stability, are now looking quite foolish.
Just hope whoever is next can restore some hope.

I think we and especially Tan underestimate how much thought and counter-thought goes into the tactics. I believe football is far more analyzed and tactical than it was a decade ago. The championship is considered a better league in general than the Turkish Supaliga, and Bulut made his name at smaller club, i just think the championship sophistication caught him out.
His way of playing gave him success, but he had no answer when the blueprint was known on how to stop and beat us. We were a counterattack and set-play team. Teams barely pressed and stayed in their low block and we couldn't without Rambo break them down.
Grant and the much-maligned Bowler have not been replaced like for like so we lost that raw pace and dribbling you need to counter.
The conundrum has always been for the possession-based Bulut of balancing the power you need in the middle of the park in the championship with the finesses needed to pass organised teams to death, Ralls, Wintle & Siopis were always grunt and the fullbacks are even less technical when trying to make the extra man in midfield.
His model looks great on paper and in the correct environment, well backed could work, but not the championship.
I thought he'd go three centre halfs and wingbacks, but he is wed to his 4231.
