What game have we lost but you still enjoyed?

This one for me too. Although it did take a couple of days to recover to realise how much I enjoyed it.

I agree with the Carling Cup Final but in hindsight it may have been a blessing in disguise that we eventually lost to Liverpool. A win and we would have been in Europe the following season. As it was, there were no such distractions and we went on to win the Championship.

But it still would have been nice to have added another major trophy to our honours list.

Not a defeat, but the 4-4 draw at Peterborough was an amazing game , 4-0 up after half an hour and we were lucky to get a draw. Fabulous entertainment on a freezing winter's afternoon

I’d banned myself from listening to the City as I was jinx, they always lost when I put the radio on. When I saw we were 4-0 up I thought I’d finally break the jinx and put the radio on. So now I feel it’s my fault we drew…..

Easy for me .Leicester 3 city 2 play off.
Never knew what was going to happen and god we played some brill football.
If we had gone up im sure we would have survived with a couple of additions

Aside from the ones mentioned, one that sticks out in my mind is Charlton away. It was the year that we got promoted with Malky.
City blazed into a two nill lead, only for us to find ourselves 5-2 down shortly afterwards.
I can recall David Marshall getting beat from a free kick which seemed to me like it was taken not far from the half way line for one of their goals.
We put up a good fight in the end and managed to get it back to 5-4, City scoring two quite late on.
Mental game that, despite us getting beat, I really enjoyed.

yeah it probably was then

5-4 v Argyle in 89 in the league cup 1st leg,4-1 down at ht in horrendous conditions, tiny crowd at Ninian but wow will never forget it.

My mistake we actually won 5-4 but at ht felt like it would be a loss.

Lost 3-2 but had a real good at them.
