Someone mentioned doing a poll for the next manager, I think I have most that are in the running, mention below anyone you think could be in the running that I have left and I will see if I can add to it.

Valerian Ismail must be in there somewhere, has previously worked with Riza and knows the championship, is also available
Tue Sep 24, 2024 11:31 am
Jones for me
Tue Sep 24, 2024 11:38 am
For me out of these Nathan Jones
Tue Sep 24, 2024 11:43 am
Not on the list-Tony Mowbray.
Tue Sep 24, 2024 12:04 pm
Take Potter out if that list please. Of course we would all want him, but it’s fantasy.
Nathan Jones for me - just!
Jokanovic, Schumacher and Buckingham close behind.

Would love him to come in as a Director of Football with N Jones as manager
Tue Sep 24, 2024 12:22 pm
I was all in on Nathan Jones last summer and absolutely no reason why that has not changed
Will we pay the Compl though
Tue Sep 24, 2024 12:24 pm
Nathan not pep but a better fit that than tans belguim manager of his other team
he again would be more of a gamble with no championship experience i really think jones feeds a crack at a club he loves and would bring a lot more fans back i am sure.

I did mention perhaps we could do this
along these lines and hand it in to the board from the fans representative's at least then tan may know who nathan jones is.

Jones or Giggs for me
Tue Sep 24, 2024 1:09 pm
Giggs all day long. If you are a championship level player you're going to listen to the most decorated player in premier league history, played his entire career under Sir Alex so will know a thing or two, assist king and he was doing well with Wales, we played some good football.
Giggs would create interest around the world and attract players. Would he want it? How much would he cost including backroom staff?
Tue Sep 24, 2024 1:35 pm
Jones , giggs , Mowbray for me
Tue Sep 24, 2024 1:39 pm
There’s absolutely no way Tans willing to pay Charlton the compensation needed to get Nathan Jones.
I’d say Warnock, just so we can stabilise a sinking ship.
Tue Sep 24, 2024 1:53 pm
You missed out Jurgen Klopp from the list
Tue Sep 24, 2024 2:09 pm
Schumacher or Jones for me.
Both young and both have a point to prove.
Schumacher has better track record of working with young players and Jones has the local connection and would know the club from the off.

Yeah he is, about half way down.
Tue Sep 24, 2024 2:33 pm
Alex Neil please:
No compo
Will be chomping at the bit
Reasonably cheap wages
Still only 43
Knows how to win ugly
Won Scottish first div
Won championship play off's
Won League one play offs

Sorry mate, it won’t let me edit anymore, not sure if one of the mods could add him ?
Tue Sep 24, 2024 2:51 pm
Can’t find a reason to give it to giggs, forgetting the inevitable media scrutiny given his history.
His championship experience is zero. He rode the Bale train at Wales for 25 games and 4 at United.
He is 50 if he was passionate about getting back in the game he could have done it at the club he part owns
Tue Sep 24, 2024 2:56 pm
Giggs with Rambo
Jones
Mowbray
or Schumacher
In that order
Tue Sep 24, 2024 5:08 pm
Schumacher.
People who want attacking footballing are also saying they want Jones - his Charlton team's attacking stats are awful
Tue Sep 24, 2024 5:15 pm
For me it has to be Graham Potter. IF he'd consider it, wages would probably be an issue.
We're more likely to get Harry Potter.
Tue Sep 24, 2024 5:17 pm
Giggs
Tue Sep 24, 2024 5:22 pm
Shocked by how many people would want Giggs.
Tue Sep 24, 2024 5:32 pm
Attacking football is a fallacy.....Most fans want successful football
Malky loved...defensive a fcuk, set piece team
Warnock idolised .... agricultural, counter-attack, set peice
Lennie, Harris & Slade- basic run of the mill stuff albeit with far better players
Morsison & Bulut talked an attacking game but laughable
So the only attacking manager was the much maligned Dave Jones.
I'd prefer NJ's 350 games as a manager over Giggs.
Schamacher will be a pain to spell but his credentials look sold as would Alex Neil. Just happy Bulut has gone

Potter is on £200K a week until November and turned down Ajax recently, probably with one eye on the Cardiff situation
The question we should ask is "What type of football do we want to see"
I would love a Bellemy type but this squad isn't that. Its a meat and 2 veg basic squad, we need a meat and 2 veg manager for the remainder of the season.

Is be happy with either Jones or Giggs tbh.
Don't think giggs would command much of a fee and he had Wales playing well
Tue Sep 24, 2024 8:15 pm
Giggs with Ramsey that would get the fans
