Freyr Alexandersson has dismissed suggestions he has flown in to hold talks with Cardiff City over the vacant manager's post.
According to reports in Belgium, the KV Kortrijk coach missed a few training sessions last week allegedly due to illness after the match against OH Leuven
However, it's claimed he had actually travelled to Cardiff to speak to the Welsh club about the possibility of succeeding Erol Bulut, who was dismissed from his post with the Bluebirds at the weekend following the 2-0 defeat at home to Leeds United

We really should have kept hold of Sabri and let him cook. Big mistake letting him go.

KVK 'stunned' by Cardiff reports
Freyr Alexandersson's club KVK have said they are "stunned" by media reports in Belgium which stated the manager was in Wales last week for talks with Cardiff City over succeeded Erol Bulut at the club.
Media on the continent claimed the 41-year-old was in the Welsh capital for discussions with the Bluebirds hierarchy.

It came from a Belgium journalist, so it's them who's lying if that's what you're alleging.

A lot of journalists just try to find a story in anything.
Manager has a pre arranged appointment? He's been sacked.
Manager on holiday? In talks with another club.
We should know this by now, considering we have walesonline.
