How good is our squad?

Would be interested to know how good people believe our squad is

I don't believe it's as good as most have said.

12th ~ 16th

It is better in quality but even more imbalanced. I think ElGazi will be the striker but we have no wide forwards.`

CO'D is a wingback or preferably a 442 winger
Tanner isn't good enough and is gassed after 60 mins (still)
Willock looks a better inside forward as is Ashford and Colwill

With the right manager, it can get a midtable finish.

Said when we didn't sign a striker at the end of the window that anything above 12th was not going to happen.

The fact we've left ourselves in this position even early on means that 15th/16th would be a reasonable outcome.

But with a poor appointment, we will get relegated.

Many squads that are better than relegation have gone down from this league due to poor management, we would be next.

Until I see the new manager and the way he sets up, game management etc I cant call it

Its going to take a lot of work to undo Buluts shadow he has left on the players. They need lifting. I fear a relegation battle because we dont know how to put the ball in the net and have had a losing mentality at the club, we havent put two wins together since early March. Injuries, and a historically challenging January window to come , low budget, freebies and loans.

And we know how this will end with Tan the meglomaniac , he wont appoint any name on fans wanted list, it left me with a horrible thought, a cheap Tan Yes man could leave us with another Bulut vibe at the club or we could even be worse . Someone coming in who can see we haven't been an attacking team , tries to make us exactly that if anything to get us fans onside, but it could have serious repercussions at the back if its not done sensibly. Very scary

Hard to be optimistic with Tans lack of structure at our great club.

No goals in this team..poor forwards, defensive mfs...relegated

Tempted to select 'relegation' but opted for just avoiding it.
We are capable of some good football. However, the lack of pace up front and certainly lack of goal scorers will mean we will struggle under any manager.
Unlikely we will bring in any game changers in the new year transfer window, so once again we will have to await the summer clearout again under the new manager.
This will be an awful season and I just hope we can avoid the drop!
