Anyone know much about this guy, on a few people’s shortlist in the press, did manage Rochdale a few years back ??

Highly rated because he did a good job with Man City's elite development squad.

Wouldn't be my choice for the same reason as Riza, Alexandersson etc - he has no experience in the Championship.

I will stick with Schumacher as my choice, however I can’t see anywhere in the press where he has allegedly said he’s interested in the City job ?

Don’t care much about the “championship experience”, just a bloody good manager! Many come here and light up the league. Just need to make sure we hire guys with tactical mindsets, good coaching, understands football.

Those with championship experience have all been sacked one time or another for underperforming. Des Buckingham had not experience in league 1 ect before he went to Oxford just Australia New Zealand and India and look where he's took them. so maybe Barry Murphy would not be a bad option.or someone similar? as long as they play good attacking football

Made same point regarding rissa ... look at Ipswich manager no experience even in div 1 yet got promoted twice so does experience count or is knowledge and tactical mind better?
