The Hierarchy’s current plan for the management:

Wed Sep 25, 2024 12:39 pm

The Hierarchy’s current plan, it is understood, is for Omer Riza to lead the side until the next international break at least,
while the club take stock, assess their options, review the applications and draw up a shortlist.

Their is much talk at the Club that should Riza do well for 3 games, he will get the managers job till the end of the season.

Winless Cardiff have Struggling Hull City away first, Hull have not Won at home this season.

Millwall and Bristol City before the next international break.

Their are 9pts available their and ALL Winnable games for the Bluebirds.

But should Riza turn Cardiff's fortunes around over the next few weeks, the prospect of him taking the job until at least the end of the season cannot be ruled out and is in the minds of the Hierarchy.

Was Caretaker manager of Leyton Orient in the NON LEAGUE, which he was relieved of.

Managed Chesnut in the Isthmian League.

And Now Cardiff City Caretaker Manager.

Well I hope Riza does well in these games because we desperately need results.

But I don't think he should get the job permanently.

Schumacher is my choice from the names mentioned.

With you Ned,

We want him to do well but for the 3 games only. NO way should he be given the job, as NO experience, But he will be a Yes man and Very Very Cheap.

We have done this time and time again under Tan and it’s Completely failed.

Absolutely perfect credentials for a cheap Tan yes man. He is nailed on then....

'while the club take stock, assess their options, review the applications and draw up a shortlist.'
I sincerely hope its not only the last week or so they have been doing this! It wouldnt surprise me...

You couldnt make it up with Cardiff anymore, a totally leaderless ship that is drifting further and further out to sea. I hope we win the next 3 and even if we do I do not want him as manager of Cardiff City end off.

I see nothing that inspires me that Tan and his minions want the best for the club, and by best I mean, battle for promotion let alone survival. I personally believe that if we go down that will be the first step into the extinction of Cardiff City FC. Dalman just interested in his interest payments, Choo has no idea at all and Borley is just a hanger onner doing as he told.

Fan representatives...What do they do in all this? it was a big fanfir on their arrival that seems to have just petered out into nothing really, nice blokes who mean well but have no really say in anything.

Trust, Im not sure what they do.

I have no beef with Tan but surely now he must see this is only going one way and should cut his losses and run. :bluebird:

ITS ONLY AN OPINION!

Bloody ridiculous idea,we need an experienced manager not another Tan Kwiksave bargain basement recruit.

Devil's advocate here... whilst dont think he should get it until end season what if he wins next 3 games do you risk upsetting the balance to bring in say schumaker don't
forget nothing is garaunteed in football? or do you persevere with him ?
As been pointed out Ipswich used an un tried manager in div 1 whatever happened to them?

You bring in a new manager regardless of how Riza does.

That's what any normal club would do.

That shouldn't even be up for debate.

We all knew deep down that this would be the case.

We have seen it time and time again. The board never learn.

That's fine but like said what garauntee do you have that Schumacher or who ever will be a success ? Football is littered with decent managers failing at another club very recently as well... why wait until after break to review things Schumacher is available now! Some how think they will muck things up.

A milestone season for our great club Annis. A season that is just over a month old. And just take a look at whats happening. Panic, catastrophizing and fear amongst our fanbase. Because of one man. Not one Cardiff City fan trusts our hapless dictator.

Its all on one man. Vincent, If you still refuse to learn by your mistakes and the harsh lessons of the past, and not bring in football men to make vital decisions that the prosperity and health of the football club and its customers literally hinges on, then Please lower your price like Moshiri did this week and sell our club.

Stephen,

With you all the way.

They should have gone Years ago.

Tan seems to be in NO hurry , I don’t understand why??

He’s been offered three different offers including £100 Mill, BUT Wants £200 Mill, Beyomd Obsurb.

If we wait another 2 weeks for them to take stock and draw up a shortlist then half the managers in the list would be gone by then and in other roles, well the good ones anyway.

The performance on the pitch dictates to whether the business is successful or not, therefore the leader/manager of that team has to be the very best you can get, therefore are very good managers available now that may not be in 3 weeks, act now

As for Riza, if that’s the way we are going to go for the rest of the season then say now not in 3 weeks, all 3 of the next games are winnable, surely the team will perform better knowing who the manager is going to be.

Re: The Hierarchy’s current plan for the management:

Keep him day by day, no promises if he can get us through to the International break with a big improvement and say seven more points and no one good enough is available, carry on until someone really good comes along, if that's a week later or whatever.

Use and abuse, if he's crap we will have to panic appoint another Manager, but there are a few good ones around, and a few more will become available.

Don't commit to the end of the season!

Having known Steve Borley for over 40 years I can assure African Bluebird he is no hanger onner as he calls him .Ive seen the amount of pressure and problems he undertook when he became chairman after the Kumar bros tenure which is far worse than what we got now .His love for the club is unquestionable and the work he has put in especially with the Academy set up and the new training facility being built in the Vale is impressive .On the issue of Riza being given a chance if he gets results and the playing style improves then why not give him a longer stint as manager after all its what we all would want .Schumaker or Mowbray woul be preferred choice if we change now or if Riza fails :old:

This an offical statement from the club or is it another made up story from Wales on line like the manager of Tans other team story ?

Re: The Hierarchy’s current plan for the management:

Riza was brought in to improve our attacking. We have score one goal in six matches and looked completely clueless in the final third, havent worked the opposition goalkeeper and basically have gotten even worse than last season

Would have rathered Purse or Ramsey take charge until the International break.

Hope he proves me wrong

Maybe bulut never listen to him? I seen no change from last season .so maybe bulut was the problem?
