Nathan Jones responds to Cardiff job links

Charlton press say it would take a huge compensation fee for him to leave.

Nathan Jones:



“When this kind of stuff comes up I’m very flattered to be linked with that. One day – I’ve made no secret and been totally open – I would like to manage Cardiff. It is my home town club – my dad lives close.

“But, right now, I have got a fantastic job and I’m at a wonderful club where I’m really, really looking to build something.

“So that is where we are. I won’t be disrespectful to anyone in any way. So for me it is nothing – I get on with my job day to day and I love my job here and the people I work with. I’ve asked a lot of people to buy-in to that. There is nothing to say really.”

I have always said Jones wouldn't be my choice.

Yes he supports the club and his Charlton team have had a decent start. But they don't have good attacking stats. With the way they're playing, I don't expect them to stay where they are in the league.

Did a good job at Luton but not at Stoke and Southampton. Luton didn't exactly fall back when he left either.



The way he's talking, sounds like he's happy to stay where he is.

The fact the compensation would be huge as well will rule him out.

He's on a very long contract which is why Charlton's press say the compensation is so high.

Just give it yo Schumacher, no brainer.

He goes for the cheapest option every time apart from Warnock.

Last time he paid compensation was for Malky.

Surely you know that Allan, him and the regime are the reason we are in this position time after time
