Vincent tan remains unconvinced

Sat Sep 28, 2024 7:49 am

Vincent Tan remains unconvinced about the prospect of hiring a director of football or adding more football experience at board level, according to chairman Mehmet Dalman in his meeting with the club's supporters' trust.

And this is why the club is a joke! We need football brains at the club and we just don't have one, he got lucky with warnocks promotion and it's given him an extra ego boost so he thinks he gets is all right

Mehmet Dalman said that he had raised the question of a Director of Football today with Vincent Tan.

He reiterated that Mr. Tan is still to be convinced of the necessity to appoint one.

Two years ago Dalman took the mick Out of Tans knowledge of Football.

It's cost Tan millions with not having one, and how much is this "european agency" looking to find us the right manager fit costing him??

Not all clubs have a director of football especially clubs our size but Tan does need a football advisor but there was talk before that Glenn roeder was before he died , so I'm not sure if he has anyone around him to advise him now ? .

What happens if the Dof turns out to be worse than Dalman?

Stoke has a DoF and Steven Schumacher last 30 games, i bet that cost.

I saw that WalesOnline posted this yesterday, it's just a repeat of what Dalman told the Trust and FAB.

Of course a DOF gets decisions wrong, but they'll get far more right, especially when it comes to a new manager.
