MIETE AGAIN ?

Sat Sep 28, 2024 9:21 am

I thought the interim manager was a forward thinking manager why revert back to miete and leave reindorf back home ffs ,

when when are we going to get a manager who can see after 2 seasons miete is not the answer.

Maybe you are right, but let them at least play a few minutes. Clean slate for everyone.

If Reindorf if the solution, then we are in major problems.

If Meite is played as part of a front 2 with either CR7 or maybe Ashford alongside him, it might work.

However, if Rizer plays an isolated striker again today, we're absolutely screwed.

Strange post.

Meite didn't even play against Leeds due to injury. He is back today but we don't know he'll start.

Fair enough to criticise it if he's in the team but team news isn't even out for another three hours.

I'll judge Tan's man Riza when the team is named.

Sadly, this is the mentality of some, who pick up on a micro-point and bang on about it like it’s the only issue we have…

It’s a bit like Sky TV ‘suggesting’ a manager might be in ‘a bit’ of trouble and then perpetuating the story until it becomes true after the club feel ‘pressured’ into making that decision…

Meite may not be the answer; but let’s see if he and/or others get the service they need and see what happens when they do…

Expecting any striker to convert 1 in 1 or 1 in 2 is a bit of a stretch for any striker, inc. Haaland… :ayatollah:

While yak clearly isn’t “the answer” you can’t accuse the guy of not trying. At the moment with many players conspicuously under performing, I’m happy to have someone like yak throwing his weight around.

Sadly the same people keep supporting and making excuses and picking the same player exspecting a different outcome to what has gone before
Maybe he will come good
Its a small micro point in the grand scheme but a pretty obvious one.

I'm not sticking up for Meite, I agree he shouldn't start.

I'm saying wait to see if he's starting. He may not be.

And there you have it - he's not even on the bench.
